VIDEO GAMES I'VE DESIGNED & PROGRAMMED:
Mephisto Jr. - Underworld Vigilante:
This is a video game I programmed from March 2009 to February 2011. It is a challenging isometric shooter, presented as an obstacle-oriented, action-adventure game. There are 5 progressively larger and more challenging levels and 7 major bosses to fight, along with unique monsters and obstacles on each level. I did all the design, programming & voice work, while much of the graphics & sound were supplied by free online sources like Reiner's Tilesets and SoundDogs.
This is FREEWARE; my gift back to the freeware community (and you too). Join in the fun and play this cool little independently-developed PC game. It's tricky, but there is a Game Save/Load feature & secret cheats.

Nurm's Cherry Mastur:
I spent several months programming thousands of lines of code for this 9-reel slot machine video game. It is inspired by the more complicated 6-button machines found in bars and gas stations around the country. It was a programming experiment that ended well, so I released it as a free video game.
It's pretty simple: You start with 5,000 credits. Every spin cost credits. Every payline (8 total) makes the spin more expensive, but more profitable as more paylines give more chances of a winning combo. Wins give back multiples of spin credits

BLACKJACK:
This was my first venture into really complicated math in programming that led to Cherry Mastur. It's a simple Blackjack (aka: 21) card game. Dealer wins a draw. Every card drawn is completely random, not from a set number of decks. It features a 4-reel slot game as a bonus round for extra "$" after a number of hands have been played. There are a few minor flaws, but they don't really affect the gameplay, other than an infrequent miscalculation of optimum ace values when a high number of aces have been dealt to player.

Sandfighter: Sandbomber 2:
This was the 2002 sequel to Sandbomber (2001). It's a vertically-scrolling shooter with 3 levels. At the end of the game, you can enter your name if you qualify for the high score list.
This was more or less experimentation with better pre-rendered 3D graphics from Reiner's Tilesets. Spectacular explosions and sound effects make this flashy little game pretty cool. It's takes about 18 minutes to get through. Can you make it?

Football Toss (Demo):
This is a short demo of a game project that was not resolved, so it is a one-level attempt for high score.
This is game is based on a similar game found in the MegaTouch XL machines found in bars & restaurants in the US. Mouse controls a cursor and click to throw a pass to receivers that run across the field from the sidelines. You get more points for completions that are farther away with the most points for the endzone of course. Kick a field goal for bonus: click on ball when cursor aligns with goalposts.

Sandbomber:
Mullah Omar has weapons of mass destruction and you must fly a B2 bomber to bomb the place up! Take out tanks, jeeps full of insurgents and even flying saucers!
This game is just a simple vertically-scrolling shooter, based on games like 1942. Your weapon power increases as you get more points. Mullah Omar and his fanatical army wants you dead, and they will kill you eventually. Can you last through and destroy enough enemies to get the highest score? Download this little game and find out!

Random Number Generator:
I made this little program when I was in the radio business for randomly picking winners for on-air contests, like the weekday morning "Birthday Club" on WWSN Sunny 103.3 FM.
Set the highest number and then click the "Do It!" button and the generator will produce a random number in the range you specify (from 1 up to an unknown high value).
This program is FREEWARE. Made in 2003.

Right-click & "Save image as" to download the full scale (1702 x 630) images to your computer.
These are .PNG image files, but your browser may try to make you save them as ".png_650" or some
other strange ending. Just ignore this and save the files as "name.png", where you type a "name".
Alternately, you can choose "Copy Image" and then open an image editor & "Paste" it into your editor.
